VEBE focuses on sustainability!

After a year-long construction process, the new office and production building in Genemuiden was officially opened on November 1, 2024. The building offers more than 56,400 m² of production space and 2,800 m² of office space and has been actively used by our employees since then.

The real highlight is the powerful, modern facade: the white panels in various patterns are reminiscent of the structure of reed mats – the historical predecessor to modern carpet production. The entire complex was designed and built according to the BREEAM Outstanding sustainability standard.

The interior also reflects this sustainable vision. The floor is carefully designed with coordinated color combinations of textile flooring. Specifically, for the entrance and the adjacent showroom, the needle felt quality STRONG 956 in color combinations 044 and 054 was chosen, covering an area of approximately 450 m². Together with the modern furniture and seating areas, it creates an inviting atmosphere that offers visitors a unique experience – one that lingers. It forms a perfect backdrop for advisory discussions, providing more exclusivity and focused attention on the wide product range.

To make the entire value chain more sustainable step by step, STRONG 956 sets a new standard in terms of robustness and wear resistance, both in the showroom and at the entrance. Thanks to the high, compact wear layer, the impact sound insulation is significantly improved, and the floor also functions as sound-absorbing, resulting in a more pleasant acoustic environment – which enhances the clarity of conversations.
